In this age of allegations of “fake news,” viral posts on social media, and increasingly polarized public opinion, how do we decide what to believe?  How do we avoid the echo chamber effect of listening only to those we agree with?  What are some of the ways we all get things wrong?  James Underdown, Executive Director of the Center for Inquiry-Los Angeles and contributor to Skeptical Inquirer and Free Inquiry magazines, will explore these questions this morning.
