UUVerdugo Movie Night: "Wag the Dog" (1997)

Released at the tail (ahem) end of the Clinton administration, "Wag the Dog" ("Shortly before an election, a spin-doctor and a Hollywood producer join efforts to fabricate a war in order to cover up a Presidential sex scandal") has just as much relevance now, and serves as a not-so-quaint reminder of a not-so-innocent time. Starring Dustin Hoffman and Robert De Niro. Requested $5 donations will be sent to IRC San Diego for immigrants who are waiting for asylum hearings.

The RE Committee is  wishing everyone a very happy holiday! Attached is a wonderful link about teaching children about the variations of holidays around the world. One of the goals of the RE program at UUCVH is to support our children's acceptance of others and an understanding that their perspectives and truths may be different from others and that is ok!
