UUCVH is a progressive and inclusive community dedicated to respecting the inherent worth and dignity of everyone. Our Sunday services and weekly events are designed to inspire, educate, reassure, and foster thought and action.
“...a free and responsible search for truth and meaning.”
We're located in La Crescenta, a neighborhood near Glendale and Sunland-Tujunga, just south of Foothill Blvd. between the Lowell and Pennsylvania exits of the 210 freeway.
Goal setting will be central to this month’s discussion. What next steps do we want to make in our process of ‘moving forward.’ What do we want to focus on now? There are many to choose from: outreach, technical improvements and building aesthetics start the list. We’ll choose an area to focus on and make an action plan. Bring your ideas & enthusiasm. Presented by Howard Richman
It's the season of new beginnings and fresh starts. In a tarot reading, the card for this moment would be the Fool. We might have preconceived notions of what a fool looks and acts like, but the Fool card is actually about diving into new situations with headlong enthusiasm. How can we cultivate some of that Fool energy as we settle into 2026? Presented by Ru-Lee Weller-Passman
In this season of Hope, after a year filled with disappointments, outrage, and deferred dreams,
What is the hope in your heart that you might share with the people in your corner of the world? Presented by Kikanza Nuri-Robins
Our passions give meaning to life, foster enthusiasm, and help us connect with others. What is your passion, and how will you use it during the coming year? Several UUVerdugo members share what they are passionate about, and how that passion affects their lives. Presented by Ann Kleinsasser
Got a favorite topic, hymn, Ted Talk, friend that plays music, or know someone with an interesting life story?
Please bring your ideas to the Sunday Service/Worship committee.
We encourage everyone to share your thoughts and feedback!
