Singer-songwriter Dar Williams is a UU favorite. At a recent Verdugo HUUT and, the following week, our friend Laura Joy played Williams' "The Christians And the Pagans" (we'll have a video of it shortly) and I was reminded of this haunting song that has everything to do with "the interdependent web of existence of which we are all a part."
I don't know what kind of dance parties you go to, but I am confident that "Mortal City" is not a dance party song. Instead, it is a Close Your Eyes And Listen with Headphones song.
