Social Justice News: Pride 2024

UU Verdugo Hills kicked off Pride Month with booths at two events on Saturday June 1. Foothill Pride in Sunland and La Canada Flintridge Pride in the Park. Both events were so much fun and so affirming. We loved handing out lots of smiles, hugs and of course... free cookies!

We had lots of people staffing the booth at Foothill Pride. Thanks Betsy, Gary, Valerie, Paula and Abby. Celia joined us too. Vickie’s yummy cookies! The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence were there with lots of good cheer. We shared a tent with Selah Gospel choir, a diverse and inclusive group.
