Teranga Ranch at UUVerdugo: A 10-week Wildlife Seminar

We're delighted to be hosting Dana Stangel of Teranga Ranch on Wednesday evenings through March 20 at UUVerdugo. Dana is a passionate advocate for understanding urban wildlife, and has given two spirited talks to us on Sundays over the past couple of years.


The workshops begin January 17. From Dana:


Over the course of 10 weeks, we will take you on an educational adventure filled with bobcats, bears, butterflies, brittle brush and more! If you attend every session, you’ll receive a certificate documenting your hours and dedication to learning about your ecosystem.The class is taught by Dana Stangel, a credentialed Biology teacher and California Naturalist with over 20 years experience working with wildlife and domesticated animals. There is the possibility of guest speakers, including Kristy Brauch, Master Gardener and Pollinator Specialist.

Topics include:Bears, Mountain Lions, Bobcats, Coyotes, Small Mammals, Birds, Reptiles, Backyard Pet Safety and more.$30/class $275/10 weeks
