LAST WEEKEND
Saturday night was the 6th Anniversary of the Verdugo HUUT, a delightful evening of comedy, music, prizes, and cocktails featuring Robyn Simms, Owen Dara, Phil Ward, Non-Duo, Fogelfoot, Jackie Monahan, Cynthia Brando, Ed Tree, Richard Pittman, Art Stucco, Raymond Alemania (his HUUT debut!), and Justin Curtis. Our next HUUT lands on March 16.
Last Sunday's Service
We continued a tour of the Seven Principles through the lens of similarly-numbered Commandments and Amendments. Along the way we talked about retronyms, changing one's mind based on new information, and why "compassion" really ties the room together in the UU Second Principle that starts with Justice and Equity.
