Bruce Craven, author of "Win Or Die: Leadership Lessons from Game of Thrones," returned to UUVerdugo where he presented a talk that drew together Joseph Campbell, Toby Keith, multiple business professors, and JRR Tolkien in his discussion of the leadership of Daenerys Targaryen, a central character in George R.R. Mary Madill, who happens to be our newly-elected Board President, leads a service on Compassion with help from Linda Hunt. The service will be followed by a gardening workshop led by new member Patriciaa Soares to prepare for UUVerdugo's plot in the Sunland-Tujunga Community Garden. Please bring a styrofoam 18-egg carton.
